Founded on strong industry knowledge, Call Connection has gone from strength to strength and is still evolving today....

Call Connection was established in 2004. It was founded out of the personal lines brokerage Direct Motor Line and Anglia Countrywide. 

It was at Direct Motor Line that call trading began, selling wastage to the Admiral Group. This eventually developed into recipriocal buying and selling. By the time the company was sold to Highway in 2004, calls were being traded with several insurers and along with Admiral, the company became the pioneers of the call trading industry.  

The business has experienced strong growth over the years it has been trading, and currently boasts over 300 staff, trading with over 95 insurers, and dealing with in the region of 100,000 insurance shopper enquiries a week. Managing Director Graeme Kalbraier has been working with the majority of the board directors since running the personal lines brokerage.The company thrives on the heritage of solid industry knowledge and long term relationships, whilst constantly evolving its practices to reflect the changing marketplace.

Online aggregation was introduced in late 2007 to reflect the shift in consumer shopping behaviour and to offer partners another route to market. Initially the online shopping platform I4Insurance was launched, following on from that, the domain Tiger.co.uk was purchased in 2008. There has been a huge focus on developing a market leading user experience, and the Easyfill quote form interface was registered as a trademark in May 2009.

Since then, the platform has been white labelled for several commercial partners such as Parkers and Motorcycle News, and Tiger.co.uk is being taken to market via digital advertising and public relations activity.
