Sports Relief - 2006 support

On Saturday 15th July, Call Connection volunteered as a call centre to take donation calls for Sport Relief 2006. As the only call centre in Suffolk to take donation calls, we were proud to announce that we raised in excess of £65,000 from over 2000 calls. The dedicated workers, including staff, family and friends, enjoyed a fantastic night filled with fun and laughter. Let's hope we have the same amount of success for Comic Relief 2007. As described by a member of staff " The night started well as the plasma screens adorning the walls blared out the Sport Relief message. With the free beer and wine chilling all day and the food sitting there ready to be scoffed, it would make for an interesting evening! Donations came thick and fast, in total we took £67,857.84 from just 2270 donations! A lot of our staff very kindly stayed longer than they had planned and really got into the spirit of what the night was all about. Here’s to the next one! "
